The Abesabesi grammar and dictionary tries to describe the language spoken in Ikaram and the other Abesabesi-speaking communities accurately. If you feel that your community, particular people, or the language are represented in a wrong or unfavorable way, please contact Jonas Lau (contact information on the right hand side), and we will find a solution to correct or delete information in order to achieve a better representation of your community. The content of this website has been compiled and edited by Jonas Lau. The application and the used data format for digital reference grammars (TEI-grammar) have also been developed by Jonas Lau. It runs on a virtual machine of the Regionales Rechenzentrum der Universität zu Köln (RRZK). This virtual machine is used by the Cologne Center for eHumanities (CCeH) and made available for this application.
